Norska turist vägar / Norwegian Tourist Routes
Jag hittade dessa bilder på Dezeen när jag egentligen letade efter något annat.
Det är ett av de senaste byggnadsprojekten i utvecklingen av de norska turistvägarna. Jag har sett många bilder av de olika turist attraktionerna de senaste åren och har ofta drömt om att få åka dit. År 2015 kommer det att finnas 200 färdigställda projekt.
De flesta är verkligen helt fantastiska projekt som låter en uppleva det norska landskapet på så många olika sätt. Arkitekturen förstärker verkligen upplevelsen av den omgivande naturen.
I came across this when I was looking for something else on Dezeen. It’s one of the latest additions to the development of the tourist routes in Norway. I’ve seen a lot of images of these different tourist attractions over the last couple of years and often dreamt of going there. In 2015 there will be 200 realized projects.
Most of them are absolutely amazing projects which enables you to experience the Norwegian landscape in so many different ways. The architecture really enhances the surrounding nature.

Detta projektet påminner mig om mitt eget examensarbete som jag gjorde för ett antal år sedan när jag slutförde mina arkitekturstudier. / This project reminds me of my own diploma project that I made a several years ago when I finished my architectural studies.

Excerpts from Dezeen:
Tessellated glass triangles create the self-supporting curves of the roof and are sandwiched between two sheets of anodized aluminium mesh to create a golden surface both inside and out.
Beneath the roof, two exhibition floors accommodate over 2500 works by Islamic artists from the seventh to the nineteenth century.
Glass facades surround the galleries at ground floor level, so visitors can look out at the surrounding architecture, while the underground galleries are filled with artworks that are sensitive to light.
The layout of the galleries is designed as a loop, which connects with the existing routes of the museum and encourages visitors to enter the new wing.

Den holländska designbyrån Droog har skapat ett hotell i Amsterdam med många aktiviteter under ett tak. Som gäst kan man besöka butiker, utställningar och föreläsningar eller bara slappna av i den sagolika trädgården.
The Dutch design bureau Droog has created a hotel in Amsterdam with a lot of activities under the same roof. As a guest you can visit stores and exhibitions, attend lectures or relax in the fairy-tale garden.
