Haus am Moor by Bernardo Bader Architects

I like how the roughness of the concretes meets the softness of the wood in this house by Bernardo Bader Architects.

It’s great to see how they have used a simple traditional shape and made it feel both modern and effortless. It’s a bit too much wood for my taste, but all the materials are locally sourced and there´s not a single plasterboard in sight. The deck that runs straight trough the middle is also a nice touch. Simple yet elegant.
